LunaStat Refund & Cancellation Policy

Provider: Medresearch LLC, Nashville, Tennessee, U.S.A. This policy summarizes the subscription, cancellation, and refund terms for LunaStat. It restates the corresponding terms of the LunaStat End User License Agreement (EULA, Section 8); if there is any conflict, the EULA governs.
1. Free tier
LunaStat offers a free tier at no charge. There is nothing to bill, cancel, or refund on the Free tier. A time-limited free trial of paid features may be offered; at the end of the trial the Software reverts to the Free tier unless you purchase a paid Plan.
2. Paid plans and how you are billed
The paid tier (Pro, with a discounted academic rate) is a subscription billed annually. There is no monthly plan. Current prices are shown on the LunaStat website and at checkout.
Payments are processed by our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record, currently Paddle (the specific entity is identified at checkout). The Merchant of Record, not Medresearch, is the seller of record for the transaction, issues your invoice, and collects any applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST. Your purchase is also subject to the Merchant of Record's buyer terms and privacy policy.
3. Renewal — by your explicit choice only
Paid Plans run for one year at a time and do not renew automatically. We never charge you without a fresh action by you. Before your term ends, LunaStat reminds you, inside the app and by email, and if you choose to continue, you complete a new checkout at the price then shown. If you do nothing, no charge occurs: your Plan simply ends at the end of the paid term and the Software reverts to the Free tier. Your saved work is never locked.
4. Ending your Plan early
There is nothing to cancel, because nothing renews on its own. If you no longer wish to use a paid Plan, simply let the term run out. Your Plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
5. Price changes
Prices may change over time. We do not increase the price during a term you have already paid for. Because renewal is always a fresh purchase made by you, any new price is shown to you at checkout before you pay it.
6. Refunds
Refunds are handled by our Merchant of Record (Paddle) under their buyer terms and in accordance with applicable consumer-protection law. To request a refund or ask a billing question, contact us at [email protected] or reply to the receipt you received from the Merchant of Record, and we will work with them to resolve it.
Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer rights you have under applicable law, including any statutory right of withdrawal or cancellation and any statutory refund rights.
7. Digital-content note
LunaStat is digital content supplied without a physical medium. Where the law gives you a right of withdrawal, that right may end once download or delivery begins after your express prior consent and your acknowledgment that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal. Where checkout collects that consent, it applies to your purchase.
